Auliekol breed — beli atau jual
History of the Auliekol breed. In 1960, work began on the breeding of Auliekol cows in the eponymous district of the Kostanay region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The foundation of this breed was significantly influenced by two Soviet scientists, Rostovtsev Nikita Fedorovich and Cherkashchenko Ivan Ivanovich. These two individuals were at the origin of the idea of establishing the breed. From Kazakhstan, Smagulov A. K. and Muzin I. M. also made significant contributions to the development of this breed before its approval. This breed is relatively young but is a strong player in the livestock market of Kazakhstan. The main task set by the scientists was to create a breed that could effectively utilize coarse and succulent feeds in the conditions of moderately dry steppes and a sharply continental climate during the stall period. In summer, it was also aimed to gain weight productively on pastures while intensively and continuously increasing live weight. They also wanted to achieve a slaughter yield of meat at 56-60% under tether-free group housing. The crossing options consisted mainly of 4 stages: 1) By crossing Kazakh white-headed cows with Charolais and Aberdeen Angus bulls, first-generation hybrids were obtained. 2) Then, first-generation hybrids of Charolais were mated with purebred Aberdeen Angus bulls, resulting in three-breed animals containing 50% Aberdeen Angus blood and 25% each of Charolais and Kazakh white-headed breeds. First-generation hybrids of Aberdeen Angus were mated with purebred Charolais bulls, producing three-breed hybrids with 50% Charolais blood and 25% each of Aberdeen Angus and Kazakh white-headed breeds. 3) Subsequently, three-breed hybrid cows of Charolais were mated with three-breed Aberdeen Angus bulls. Three-breed cows of Aberdeen Angus were mated with three-breed Charolais bulls, resulting in new animals containing 3/8 Aberdeen Angus and Charolais blood and ¼ Kazakh white-headed blood. 4) The resulting animals of the desired type were bred among themselves. As a result, the Auliekol breed of cows officially emerged, which became a symbiosis of the best meat breeds of cattle. Exterior. The cattle come in three colors: white, gray, and mouse-colored. Since the breed of cows is young, the first generation of Auliekol cattle often has a heterogeneous color, but over time, the coat will become more uniform. The Auliekol breed has about 70% polledness.

Ration. Representatives of the Auliakol breed are nicknamed "combines" because they eat any vegetation in pastures and can literally clear fields. Overall, the livestock is easy to feed as they consume even those grasses that are not eaten by representatives of other breeds. The digestive system of Auliakol is adapted to digest coarser feeds. Therefore, it is easier for livestock breeders to select grasses for haymaking. The breed is adapted to both good and poor forage conditions, so they cope well with shortages in both quantity and quality of feed. Most of the time, the livestock spends in pastures or meadows, requiring no additional feeding. The basis of the feed base consists of various grasses. Animals can eat leaves from bushes and trees. Additionally, the diet of the breed may include silage, grain silage, oats, vegetables, root crops, and compound feeds. The minimum norm for milking cows is 60 kg of feed per day. Silage can be an extra in the diet of this breed — it depends on the financial capabilities of the livestock breeders. From three months of age, vegetables, as well as chalk and salt, can be introduced. After that, silage and dry feed are added. From five months of age, the basis of the diet includes grass, hay, and root crops.
