History of the breed. Cows grazing on the Angeln Peninsula, located in the northern part of Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, are distinguished by excellent health and adapt well to harsh weather conditions. The average weight of cows ranges from 500 to 580 kilograms, while bulls weigh between 850 and 1000 kilograms. Conditions of keeping. In terms of care, this type of animal does not require special conditions. It is sufficient to adhere to the basic sanitary and hygienic standards applicable to any other types of animals. Direction. The breed is dairy. Additionally, the milk of these cows contains a large amount of protein, and most males are carriers of the kappa-casein gene. This makes the milk ideal for producing high-quality cheese. The average milk yield of Angler cows is 5500 kilograms per year.

Ration. The ration for cattle should be formulated taking into account the physiological state of the animals and the season.
